Invitational Meals

Hospitality is Christian virtue and the members at PBC delight in inviting their friends, colleagues and family to the church for these superb meals.

The three-course meal and decorations are provided by the PBC members themselves, and there is always a welcome to new faces and is a lovely opportunity to introduce friends and relatives to the church family.

The evening's hospitality is finished off by a 'Food for Thought' presentation by Pastor Jon, outlining the simple gospel message which binds the PBC fellowship together.

The most recent meal on Friday 25th November 2011 consisted of a colourful buffet by candle-light enjoyed by around 45 people, and the 'Food-for-Thought' posed the challenging question,
'Who is the Real Jesus?', with accompanying literature available for guests to take home to read at their leisure.

The previous invitation meal on Friday 13th May 2011, was themed on the recent Royal Wedding, so lots of Union Jacks were flying! The 'Food-for-Thought' was also themed with the Royal connection and the King James Version of the Bible which celebrates it's 400th anniversary this year.
