Christmas Tea - Penzance Baptist Church

Penzance Baptist Church

'Upholding the Ordinary Means of Grace'

Christmas Tea

To celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, PBC have special events throughout December: Christmas tea, Carol service and Christmas Day service.

The Christmas tea is a lovely fellowship meal, provided by PBC members, and friends and family are invited along to the occasion. The tea is marked out by the musical session of carol singing, chosen by the attendees, as well as some prepared Christmas pieces by PBC members.

The festive evening is finished off with a short talk by Pastor Jon around the nativity and the true meaning of Christmas, as 'Food-for-Thought'.

The latest Christmas tea was held on Saturday 10th December 2011 at 4pm in a packed Upper Hall as a feast was shared amongst attendees, carols were sung altogether, an impromptu PBC choir performed some of the Cornish Merritts carols and Pastor Jon finished with some 'Food-for-Thought'.
